Widget...

Mac computers have this fun little thing called a dashboard, and on the dashboard are these cool little programs that you can use to make your computer fun. There are some that tell the time and temperature or let you look at a satellite view of where you are living, or others with little games. My newest favorite is the radio widget. Right now I'm listening to Tampa NPR. Cool, huh? I can also listen to country music, 70's, 80's (though most 80's music is best forgotten). It's just fun. Now if I can find a station that listens to Dr. Laura, that would be fun. :)

Side note: We are having a lot of fun with the kids' friends and MSN. The kids' computer is public domain, so we will be using it, and one of their friends will pop up on MSN. Just now, a girl popped up to say hi to Timothy, and Tim was on. She said "Hi" and Tim said, "Hi gorgeous" Ha! Timothy just about knocked him out of his chair getting to the keyboard to tell her that was his dad.

Another side note: Em and her friends are having fun giving Big Dad a hard time about the whole mint plant thing. I don't know if he's going to live it down. They just want to hear him say he loves the mint plant. "Come on, Mr. Hughes, just say it!" ha!

OK. I think that's it. For now. Gotta go write a couple of papers. Time to focus.
