Clocks

As I mentioned before, T bought me some antique clocks for our anniversary this year. They are beautiful, and it's nice listening to them tick and gong at home. It really gives our house a homey feeling.

It also gives T something to tinker with. He is one who works well with his hands, always has. He can fix anything, and in our neighborhood, he tends to be the "go to" guy for advice on how to do something. People also borrow the small amount of tools we own as well.

T has always loved the feeling of starting a job, working on it, and seeing it finished. He (we) tiled our house in Florida, which was no easy job, and even harder when working with a perfectionist! But the end result was beautiful. Same with our yard. He loved working in our yard, and getting it looking just so, with an edged lawn, weedless shrubbery... it is the thing he loves to do.

So this weekend, we fixed up our balcony, with lattice work and plants. There's not much that can be done out there...it's kind of small, but it's a little paradise now. The neighbors are jealous. :)

But bottom line is that it's just fun having a tinkerer husband around. He fixed my oven, made us a garden where there was none, and made our house more of a home with the clocks that he loves to wind and watch and tinker with.

Anyone who knows him knows that he's a hard worker. He won't do a job unless he can do it well. It's his trademark. If anyone says different, they just don't know him at all.

Well, I sure enjoyed have that guy around who loved to fix and 'tinker' with things. Thanks again, Timbo, for all that you did while you were here.

Love you much,
Mama Boo
