Microwave

The microwave's gone???? It's the end of an era, folks. Mom's microwave has finally bit the dust. I bought that thing for her Christmas 1983. She has kept it this long! It was making funny noises when we were there this summer.

Mom, enjoy your new microwave. Don't mourn the old one. We'll always have the memories.....*sniff*

Now all you need is a bread machine.

Yes, the bread machine story is a T classic. I think it will live on for generations to come! ha!
I sent you a gift certificate, remember? And you guys still had to pay the taxes or something. Oh well, that's the life of a college student. ha!

Ah yes, the bread machine story. I remember when Kay anticipated getting a bread machine the next year for Christmas...she cleaned out a special spot for it in her kitchen. Christmas morning came and she opened that special package with pride and vigor that any 10 year old who had just gotten a Red Ryder BB gun would be proud of. Walked into the kitchen placed it lovingly on the kitchen mantle...and there it has sat ever since. I think she was using it as a vase the last time we where there. :)

Have a great day.
Yes, that was T.
