The rest of Texas

I've talked about the bigger events, but the smaller events were the most fun.

We started off the summer with Dad being able to baptize Christopher. That was such a blessing. What a thing for our kids in knowing their heritage to be able to say that their PapaDon is the one who baptized them. It's a testiment to God's promises about Godly living. I love that.

Here's a list of fun things we did on a daily basis:

Walking Vuji and Pepe.
Watching the baby birds grow.
Loving on a lonely cat named Tinkerbell.
Shooting marshmellow guns.
Playing Uno
America's Funniest Videos and listening to the kids watching it.
Trips to the pet store.
Trips to the mall.
Trips to Starbucks.
4 am visits to Walmart.
Doughnuts. Real ones.
Dale's burgers.
Sonic drinks.
Hide and seek until 1 in the morning.
Walks around Liberty Hill. (The memorial wall is great!)
Meeting up with old friends.
Family BBQ's and playing "Dodge the Horseshoes" at the White's.
Swimming at the Ferrell's.
Trips to the pool.
Walks in the park.
Never having the kids together in one place, except church.

All in all, Texas was fun, relaxing and an all around good time! We sure miss the Ledbetters, Whites, Ferrells, and all of the new friends. Thanks for making last summer the best in recent memory! We love you guys!!!

Next, Florida part one and two. :)
