A Week of Goodbyes...

Met with teachers today for parent/teacher conference. All went well. Timothy had to actually present his work to me himself. I liked that. He was a bit nervous beforehand, but realized that it was just showing what he learned. He actually enjoyed it in the end. Christopher has had a rough start this year, but he's coming out of it. He started taking guitar lessons again, so we'll see how that goes. San was hilarious. His papers in class were all about his friend Angelo, them playing together, going to each other's house, which happened once this quarter. The teacher told me that she was saying something in class, and San just started spouting out the plan of salvation. She said she just let him have the floor and thought "Preach it!" ha! There's never a dull moment with that one.

Em had a career day today. She said it was more about finding a job after college rather than deciding on a major. She was a little disappointed. Anyway, it was only a half day, so she's getting a jump start on her weekend.
