It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Christmas is almost here. I love the anticipation of Christmas more than the day itself. We're taking full advantage of this year, because I don't think we can get another Santa year out of San. He's just asking too many questions now. It's starting to dawn on him.

Went to see the movie Zathura with the kids and some friends last night. It's a great kids' movie...along the lines of Jumanji. Then we got together at my friend's house and watched Elf, which is a hilarious movie. ("SANTA?! HERE? I KNOW that guy!!!) Too funny.

Now we're singing the praises of Sandy because she got us some new Nike shoes for half price. Timothy and San were in need, so they benefited. :) There was this awesome jacket there: gloves built in to the jacket, a place for an iPod and earphones. Really cool. Christopher really wanted one, but the way he loses jackets, it's just not going to happen yet! ha!

We spent the evening getting Sandy's computer figured out so that she can download movies in the right file format to her iPod. She was happy. Both our hubbies were out of town, her mom was in town, so it was a girls day (with kids in tow) all the way around.

Big dad comes home tomorrow. We're ready for him to get home. :) I can start my shopping. :)
