Here are some more random pictures. Like the last ones, they make me think of things. I'll try to explain.

This reminds me of trick or treating in the states. Plus, I miss the wreaths. It's a cute picture.

The tea stand! This place makes the best teas. "Bubble" tea (here it's jen ju tea), all kinds of drinks: banana/chocolate (we taught them how to make that one when we first came here. They think it's gross.) Also, good fried rice, noodles, and even chicken nuggets!

The kids and I miss this like crazy. I'm not sure how to explain it except the "noodles" are actually made in large bowls and the mold is dumped out onto a board. When you order, they slice off the "noodles" then add greens which are green onions, cilantro, bean sprouts, some ground nuts, some garlic in oil, some ground hot peppers, then topped off with a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar. MMMMMMM good! You buy it in the market for about 12 cents a bowl. It's one of our favorites, but we can't get it here in Taiwan. It's a local thing on the mainland.

Another really good meal that we missed. The meat is pork ribs dipped in a hot pepper batter and deep fried. Rice, sliced pork with peppers. Good stuff!
