Pretty busy, but good

Here's to Spring in Taiwan!


T is working hard at learning Taiwanese. His mandarin is pretty good, plus he's got quite a bit of nosu in there, so now that he's learning Taiwanese, both of those tend to come out. It's pretty funny. He is also reading a book on Benjamin Franklin right now. You know how he used to be quiet? Yeah. Not any more. He is constantly talking about the stuff he's learning.

I've been busy at school. This is a busy time of year though. Lots of testing, meetings to set things up for students for next year, and sometimes my students are just tired of school. And you just can't help but get Spring Fever when the weather is as gorgeous as it has been lately. We've had some two and three mountain days. I spoke to the Women of Worth class today. It went well. The class was an hour and a half, and they all asked good questions and stayed with me. That's always a good thing.

The kiddos are good...busy with the end of the year things. Em has junior/senior banquet next week, Timothy and Christopher have concerts, San has a solo in his concert... plus there are basketball games to boot. All in all, it is a good, busy week.
