Fun stuff
First story. We have started a new little hobby, and the whole family has been involved. We've begun making our own milk products: yogurt, sour cream, cheese. It has been so fun, and we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor! We especially like the yogurt. T and I also came upon a little hole in the wall supply store, and found some nice little crocks to store everything in for only 80NT. We're enjoying it all quite a bit.
Second story. Go to Timothy's site (www.xanga.com/tim_hughes) and scroll down to the little video. Not the one with the guys, but the other one. Do that first before you read on, and make sure you watch it all the way to the end with the sound up.
Now that I've set that up, the story goes like this: Christopher, Emily, San and I were up this morning and we decided to watch it. We've watched it many times before, but have never noticed the end. San went on and on about how cute the bird was, and he especially liked the part where the bird sheds a small tear while in flight. It came to the end, and we all noticed the SPLAT at the end. I looked at the older kids, and we were surprised that the bird actually died at the end. San said, "He died?" and I said "Yes" then kept on talking to the older kids. I know, very insensitive, but I just didn't catch it. All of the sudden, Em stopped and pointed to San, I looked over, and he was BAWLING. It just broke his heart that the bird died. It made him so sad to think of that! Well, we were all laughing, crying, consoling.....it was a very cute moment. It still brings a smile to our faces when we think of it.
That was our day. :) How was yours?
