Homework takes over family life. Film at Eleven.
We have been bombarded with homework lately. It has meant a lot of extra running around, making things, cutting, pasting, projects, UGH! Two boys in middle school is a bit taxing.
Nathaniel is doing well. His eye definitely isn't slowing him down. He read 123 words per minute today, which is pretty good. With no mistakes. He still sees half of my face with that eye, so that is a good thing. He still has some central vision there, which is a huge thing. We're very thankful for that.
Em is really getting into the swing of things. Junior year is the toughest, and I've told her if she can handle junior year, she can handle college. It really is a rough year. She has a banquet coming up. That should be fun.
We're going to do something different with her hair, I think.
All in all, life is full. It's busy but fun. I am enjoying it quite a bit. Looking forward to the summer and possible visits from relatives????? We'll see! We sure have our fingers crossed! :)
