Timothy's growing up

It's hitting me all at once! I guess it's the whole middle school thing. He hangs out with friends after school. Last night he went out for the first time with friends. They saved their money and went to see the Chronicles of Narnia. Gold class. Now that's a treat! (For those who don't know, that means Lazy-Boy type lounge chairs, they bring your drinks and popcorn to you...very nice) He was very excited thinking that he gets to be with the youth group this year at our Annual meeting, but unfortunately the group that is handling the youth this year decided they want a pre-teen group, which means he will be with 5th graders instead of 7,8,9,10,11, and 12th graders. It was rough at first, but he's handling it well now. He's decided he wants to be in every sport, because that means that he can take trips to Taipei on his own. And to top it off, he's only about half an inch shorter than me now. Not that that's saying much, but still. We're eye to eye. I can still beat him in arm wrestling, though.
