Lots Going On
Well, the biggest news of note is Timothy's gal pal. I'm not sure if we should say girlfriend yet, they have yet to go out, but I think it's a given that he will be buying her some flowers and chocolates for Valentine's day. San had a girlfriend for a couple of days, but that fizzled. It may have been the way it started. Her girl friends kept asking Nathaniel if he wanted to "go out" (which in 4th grade means saying hi to each other a few more times during the day), and finally at the end of the day he said, "FINE." The girl friends came back asking what that meant.
Em is headed off to a retreat this weekend with the college and career. Sounds like a lot of fun. Timo has been practicing with an elite baseball team, and they said he has a spot on the team if he wants it. Christopher is getting involved in a christian group at his school that meets at lunch. He's enjoying that. San is still obsessed with his lego movies. He made one that was pretty funny this week. In my opinion it's his best so far. His use of classic comedic pratfalls is pretty good.
Things rev up again next week. Em starts back to school. I start subbing (can't stay out of the classroom too long), Timo looks forward to baseball tryouts (the elite team is something he'll do if he doesn't make the freshman team) and then Spring ball starts soon.
Life is full.
