Wow...

Days are just moving into weeks, and we're down to three weeks left of school! I can't believe it.

The boys went on a camping weekend, so Em and I decided to have a girl's weekend. Last night we went to see Ironman in Gold Class, went to Chili's, walked and shopped around, talked...just had a good ol' time. Then, as if we didn't make enough memories, the taxi we were riding in on the way home was rear-ended. We were fine, but the taxi wasn't. It popped the trunk, and of course the taxi driver got out and started pointing out the damage. We sat there for a few minutes, mainly because I'm not sure of the protocol in such events. I ended up paying the driver the cab fare then Em and I walked the rest of the way home. We were close to home and it ended up being a nice walk.

We were laughing on the way home about our conversation about the evening 10 years from now. "Remember when we had our girl's night out and we saw...what was that movie again? And then on the way home we got rear-ended....and the taxi driver was shocked that we paid the faire???" It made the walk go faster. :)

Anywho, Em's graduating. Can you believe it? Tim and I have talked about this day, and have dreaded it at times, but it seems such a natural step at this point.

She'll be going off to Japan tomorrow for her final soccer tournament. She's been doing great. Their team won their last two games (one against community, and against a middle school that they've never beaten before). The team looked great, Em is recovering from her deep leg bruise, (they've been padding her up good)and we think they're going to do really well this tournament. They have 3-4 games scheduled the first day, one game the next day, if they win that then they go on to play more depending on how well they do. I can't wait to hear how they do!

I'll post more about the boys' weekend later. Tim promised to take a lot of pictures.
