Back from Thailand and.....Cambodia!

Well, we're back. We had a great trip to Thailand. We decided this year we were going to make the kids' trip there memorable. In the past, we've always focused on meetings, networking, etc. But this year we took advantage of the time, relaxed, went to some helpful meetings, and had a great time. We also hooked up with good friends, swapped stories, which is always fun.

I've got some videos I need to post to youtube so I can post them here. The boys tried out a new activity: krazee ball. They climbed into a big rubber ball and rolled down a hill. It was hilarious to watch. Timothy did have to have a seat to get his equilibrium back.

We rode elephants, which was a tad scary. It felt like the seat was going to slide sideways, and that was one long drop! T ended up riding on the elephant's neck, which was pretty cool. He said their necks are squishy. ha! I just love elephants now. They are really cute. Nathaniel and Christopher fed them bananas, and then they got their pictures taken sitting on the tusks of one huge bull elephant. It even grabbed them with it's trunk and held them sideways. They are remarkable creatures.

At the end of the meetings, T and Em took off on her senior trip to Cambodia. They've been planning this trip for a couple of years. T was so impressed with the country. Truly. He wants to go back. They toured Angor Wat, and the pictures they brought back are completely impressive. Em can just quote the history of almost every picture she took. The carvings and the architecture are amazing. She'll be posting them on Facebook, so those of you with an account keep an eye out. You'll have to ask her about the big balloon they went up in. They were able to take some great shots of Angor Wat from the air, even though they were both huddled on the ground afraid to look over the side! ha! Em was describing how she had to hold the camera when she took the pictures. We had a good laugh about that one.

I will be posting pictures. I have to wait until Em is done with her pictures before I post my own. I'll post soon!
