New food experiences...
Eating in rural China is a real experience:
You can start off the meal with an appetizer of corn on the cob. Dad had a real cultural experience: how to eat corn on the cob in the village! :) (Notice the corn in the fire)
The main course: BBQ city! Take your pick: besides the usual vegetables, you can also pick kidneys, chicken skin, dragon fly larvae (our kids' favorite), brains, grubs.....
You could wash it all down with a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. (This is actually in HK, but it makes a better story in this order!)
This was Dad's favorite. Can anyone guess what it is? It's actually one of my favorites, too, so it's not too gross. :)
Top it all off with a baba. That's some good eatin'!
