In the last two weeks we have...

Now I can add one more to this list. It was a surprise, so we didn't want Dad Hughes to see. We got to ride in a fire truck, the kids got to use fire hoses, slide down a firehouse pole, etc. We got to do this because we had a 7 hour layover in Detroit and decided to drive over to Dad Hughes' old firehouse and surprise him on Father's Day (well, a little bit afterwards) with pictures of the kids in the Taylor fire truck. It was a fun time. You couldn't even tell the kids were jet-lagging. :)
This week we got to watch the space shuttle launch, and set off fire works. Oh, and I got to surprise some old friends. Good times!
*gone to the top of the world's tallest building
*ridden the world's fastest elevator (90 floors in 45 seconds. My ears popped on the way up)
*gone to a pro-baseball game
*gone to a rodeo (where Christopher danced with the clown in the middle of the arena...he did the "O Brother Where Art Thou" dance. It was a hit)
*tiled mom's kitchen
*painted mom's kitchen
*gone to a local baseball game
*shopped at the mall. Bath and Body Works is good. A sale at Bath and Body Works is even better.
*had a marshmallow gun fight. Don't ask.
*watched a mom and daddy bird sit on, and start feeding the five baby birds on mom and dad's front porch. They just may fly away before we leave here.
*spent more time with family than I thought we would be able to
*laughed until our sides hurt, and then some. T has the ability to do that to us!
*And last but not least....watched my dad baptize Christopher.
